Layang Layang Island

Malaysia might have some 3,000 islands (estimates only) around the waters. But if in comparison with over 7.100 in the Philippines and more than 13,500 in Indonesia, it is only a small amount.
Most of the islands, there is no penhuninya and perhaps also, there will be those who want to live there, unless you have to, or ship stranded there. While many of these islands we've never heard of this name, such as Omadai Pu, Pu Patuk, Dark Pu, Pu Kulapuan, Pu Sabangkat and so on, but to the local people.

But there are also some very famous island, such as the White Stone Pu, Pu Sipadan and Ligitan while Pu Pu Pu Langkawi and Tioman. Pulau Layang-Layang (PLL) that I visit is also, one of the island is quite famous as well, especially those living in Sabah or scuba diving enthusiasts. It is located in the South China Sea, about 300 km North West of Kota Kinabalu.

Layang Layang Island, the original name was "Swallow Reef", or Reef Layang Layang. First time I get there in the 80s, and did not get a chance to land, at that time also there is no resort and the airport there.

In 2001, satelah leave services, while on vacation I had the opportunity to work for two weeks on this man-made island, while supervising the work of a company in the waters. If ever I get there by boat, which took 12 hours, now travels only two hours by plane from Kota Kinabalu ..

Because there is only one resort there, the resort has been my home for two weeks. Tidor eat and work, as well as peace of mind there's only island in the middle of the South China Sea.

Because not interested in diving berscuba (hesitate to open private parts), as well as limited time and purpose to go there to work, not be able to enjoy the natural beauty of the underwater beauty products touted it.

Tranquility during your stay, may only be stopped when it is time to pay the bill after completion of holiday accommodation
